商品説明
Explore the neighborhoods of Once, Tribunales, and Retiro, and delve into the traditions and landmarks of the largest Jewish community in South America.
Starting Oct 14th 2026 our tour now includes a visit to the largest Jewish archive in LATAM: IWO.
Go beyond tradition, examining how politics and the broader history of Argentina have shaped the Argentine Jewish identity. Along the way, visit several sites of significance, including the heart of the Jewish Argentine community in Once, Argentina’s most important institution AMIA (viewed from outside), the Paso and Lavalle Synagogues (viewed from outside), Tribunales (the first Jewish neighborhood of Buenos Aires) and a visit to IWO archive, Libertad Synagogue and the Jewish Museum.
As you explore these sites, learn about the origins and development of the Argentine Jewish community, the iconic Jewish Gauchos of the countryside, the 1919 BA pogrom and the rise of antisemitism in Argentina, WW2 in Argentina (including Peronism, Nazis, Allies, and the hunt for Eichmann), the disappeared Jews of the 1976 military dictatorship, the 90s terrorist attacks and their aftermath, and the current events and challenges faced by the community.
