This is a full day private journey through one of the Caucasus' most breathtaking national parks — 8km of ancient forest, hidden springs, panoramic viewpoints, and a 12th-century monastery that has been standing longer than most countries have existed. But the moment that will stay with you happens somewhere in the middle of the forest. Your guide stops. Reaches down. Picks a handful of wild herbs growing along the trail — the same herbs Armenians have been brewing for centuries. A small fire. A pot. The smell of mountain tea rising through pine trees. Nothing else exists for a while. This is the wild mountain tea ritual — and it happens only here, only on this trail, only with us. Start at Parz Lake, a serene alpine lake surrounded by dense forest. Set off along the marked trail toward Goshavank Monastery with your private guide beside you the entire way. Every step has a story — the flora, the fauna, the ancient legends woven into these hills. Stop at a mountain viewpoint where the forest opens up and Armenia stretches out in every direction. Arrive at Goshavank — a masterpiece of 12th-century Armenian architecture built by the scholar Mkhitar Gosh. Walk through intricate stone carvings and quiet courtyards that have absorbed eight centuries of silence. Then settle into the village café in Gosh for a proper rest before your private transfer back to Dilijan. This isn't a hike with a guide attached. It's a full day of being completely present in one of the most beautiful places on earth — with someone who knows every inch of it. Entirely private. Maximum 4 guests. Never rushed.
