Day 1: Canopy Walk and Zipline Adventure Depart Kigali at 6:00 AM for a 5–6 hour drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge before heading into the forest for the famous Canopy Walkway. Suspended approximately 70 metres above the forest floor, the canopy bridge offers spectacular views across the rainforest canopy and is an excellent location for spotting birds, monkeys, and butterflies. Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking Experience Wake up around 5:00 AM with a packed breakfast , drive 1 hour to the Uwinka Visitor Centre for the briefing. Begin your guided forest hike in search of wild chimpanzees, following experienced park rangers through Nyungwe's dense rainforest. Once the chimpanzees are located, spend one hour observing their natural behaviour as they feed, play, and communicate in the treetops.
