Begin your journey with a comfortable hotel pickup in Kigali, followed by a scenic drive north to Musanze, the gateway to the Volcanoes Mountains. Continue onward to the stunning shores of Lake Kivu, one of Africa’s Great Lakes.

Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise across Lake Kivu, exploring nearby islands and notable landmarks along the shoreline. Highlights include views of Rwanda’s main brewery (BRALIRWA), natural hot springs, Paradise Island, and distant sights of the Methane Gas Plant. The cruise offers exceptional photo opportunities, with panoramic views of terraced hillsides and the lake’s tranquil waters.

After the boat excursion, disembark at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel for a freshly prepared hot lunch, served with beautiful beach and lake views.
