Next, hike Napoleon Island for panoramic views of Lake Kivu. The hike on Napoleon Island is moderate and suitable for most travelers with basic fitness. Life jackets are provided, and the boat is operated by an experienced local captain.

After the boat tour, continue with a guided hike along a scenic section of the Congo Nile Trail near Kibuye. Walk through rural landscapes and small villages, see local farms and agricultural activities, and enjoy elevated viewpoints over Lake Kivu.
