商品説明
Meet your running guide at La Mezcla Coffee & Tea near the Escambrón Beach, a stunning beach and natural area where the Spanish constructed defensive fortifications to protect against land attacks. After warming up, we’ll start our 5.5 mile jogging tour heading towards the century-old city of Old San Juan at an easy, conversational pace.
On our way we’ll have breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, pass by the monumental capital building of Puerto Rico, and Castillo San Cristobal, the largest fortification by the Spanish in the new world. Here we’ll stop to take photos at one of the most iconic viewpoints in Old San Juan.
After this, we’ll make our way next to the old city walls with sights of the famous La Perla community, the coastline and the colorful old colonial buildings for which Old San Juan is famous.
Then we’ll reach our halfway point after running up the hill to the Castillo San Felipe del Morro, the most iconic historical landmark in Puerto Rico, and learn about its construction and the attacks it endured throughout the centuries by invading European military forces.
After knocking on the monumental wooden gates of El Morro for some good luck, we’ll begin our run back to the El Escambrón beach where we’ll finish our running tour at La Mezcla Coffee & Tea where they serve delicious local Puerto Rican coffee.
