Escape San Juan and join us for a trip to the beautiful town of Loíza Piñones. Prepare to experience a new aspect of Puerto Rico as we venture beyond city limits. Known as fried fritter capital, Piñones is the go-to destination for local vibes, great music, cultural dance and delicious African Puerto Rican food. The tour starts at the house of Roberto Clemente where we can see photos of Loíza, artifacts left behind from Taíno natives, and African Puerto Rican inspired art. Finishing up we will take the boardwalk / horse trail to a local bar where each guest will get a welcoming shot of Puerto Rican Rum and sample food. Participants in our tour group also have special drink offers with participation kiosk. Depending on the pace of group and the day of the tour, we aim to stop at 3-5 locations in Piñones. This includes walking the boardwalk and beach so please bring a bathing suit and towel. (On weekends it gets very busy in Piñones which can limit the number of spots visited.)
