Embark on an unforgettable adventure through the valleys of Taipivai, Hatiheu, and Aakapa on a guided day trip in a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle. Your day will begin around 8:30 AM/9:00 AM when we will pick you up from your accommodation. Our passionate live guides will immerse you in the fascinating history of Nuku Hiva.
We will begin by exploring the Taipivai Valley, where photo stops at panoramic vantage points will allow you to capture the beauty of the lush green landscapes. Then, head to the archaeological sites for an enriching guided visit, where you will discover the remains of Polynesian culture, the flora and fauna, and the legends.
Halfway through, we will take a well-deserved break at the craft center, where you can admire the local craftsmanship and perhaps pick up a unique souvenir.
After this cultural immersion, a delicious local meal awaits you at the restaurant "Chez Yvonne", where you can enjoy carefully prepared typical dishes.
For those who wish, we can also include a swimming break on the beautiful black sand beach of Hatiheu, perfect for cooling off and enjoying the idyllic setting.
