We'll set off on a tour into Soberanía National Park, home to the Panama Canal dredging center and one of the best places to see the rainforest from a different perspective. This experience offers a calm and quiet journey above the treetops, accompanied by a nature tour guide who will explain the flora and fauna along the way.
From the cable car area, you can see the Chagres River and its mouth in the waters of the Panama Canal, right at the entrance to the Culebra Cut. Upon arriving at the facilities, we'll board the cable car to begin a journey of approximately 3.5 km, lasting about 45 minutes, during which we'll be in direct contact with nature while the tour guide shares information and interesting facts about the surroundings.
At the end of the tour, we'll visit the butterfly garden, which hosts more than 150 species of butterflies. It's the perfect place to appreciate the natural richness associated with the historical meaning of the word "Panama." At this same complex, we can also see an outstanding collection of orchids, representative of the more than 1,300 species registered nationwide.
