You'll start the day with pickup in Panama City, leaving the city behind to gradually enter a natural environment full of vegetation. Upon arrival at the Chagres National Park, you'll feel the change in atmosphere as you prepare to board a traditional canoe. During your trip on the river, you'll sail through the rainforest, listening to the sounds of nature and enjoying a landscape that seems frozen in time. Upon arriving at the Emberá indigenous community, you'll be greeted by its inhabitants, who will welcome you and invite you to learn about their ancestral lifestyle. You'll learn about their history, community organization, colorful clothing, and traditions, and get a close-up look at their crafts and customs. Then you'll enjoy a traditional lunch of fresh fish and plantains, prepared on the spot. The experience continues with a cultural presentation full of music, singing, and typical dances. To finish, you'll take a short hike to the Cascada del Mono, where you can cool off and enjoy a unique natural setting before starting your return trip.
