Begin your journey with a pickup from your hotel in Panama City. Travel to Colón, crossing the isthmus from the Pacific to the Caribbean.

Visit the Agua Clara Locks Visitor Center to observe the expanded canal and the NeoPanamax ships. Next, stop at the Gatún Locks to see the original lock system and contrast the engineering from over 100 years ago.

Then, head to the San Lorenzo Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a guided walk through the ruins of this Spanish colonial fortress, set in a national park and surrounded by lush jungle.
