We continue to the Old Cathedral of Managua, imposing and silent, a witness to the past, and then we visit the modern Metropolitan Cathedral, a symbol of the capital's new era. The tour continues through the Roberto Huembes Market, where you can experience authentic Nicaraguan daily life among handicrafts, cuisine, and local culture. We'll also stop at Lake Managua to appreciate its magnitude and its importance in the country's history.
Then we completely change scenery, heading to the Apoyo Lagoon, also called the Blue Lagoon due to its crystal-clear waters and intense turquoise hue. This volcanic crater has become one of the most important natural landscapes in Nicaragua. Here you'll enjoy lunch overlooking its crystal-clear waters, surrounded by a peaceful and lush environment. During the visit, you'll have the opportunity to observe monkeys in their natural habitat, as well as macaws and other species that inhabit the forest surrounding the lagoon.
