Next, marvel at the surreal hues of the Pink Lake, a stunning natural phenomenon caused by salt-loving microorganisms. Continue to the iconic Dune 7, the tallest sand dune in the area. Admire its grandeur from below.

Journey inland to discover the ancient Welwitschia plant, a living fossil found only in the Namib Desert. Some of these plants are estimated to be over 1,000 years old.

As you approach Swakopmund, gain cultural insight into local life with a guided drive through Mondesa township, showcasing modern Namibian urban life.
