Dolphin Snorkeling & Sandbank Safari｜Maldives

Your adventure starts at 9:00 AM, when you board our speedboat in Malé, Hulhumalé or Resort and set off into the Indian Ocean, Sit back, enjoy the scenic views and feel the breeze, you are in good hands.

Our main goal is to find wild spinner and bottlenose dolphins in their natural environment. We use local sightings and real-time information from other boats to give us the best chance of finding them. When conditions allow, you’ll have the opportunity to get into the water and snorkel near them. Seeing dolphins swimming freely alongside you is an unforgettable experience, although, as with any wild animal encounter, we can never guarantee an in-water interaction.

Once we’ve had our time with the dolphins, we’ll head to a beautiful coral reef for some more snorkeling. Expect clear water, plenty of tropical fish, turtles and colourful corals.

We’ll then make our way to a stunning sandbank, where you can enjoy a prepared picnic lunch surrounded by turquoise water. Take a swim, walk along the sand, take some photos or simply relax and enjoy the scenery.

After around six hours, we’ll make the journey back with plenty of great memories and photos from the day.

Note: Dolphin snorkeling is the main activity, but because dolphins are wild animals, sightings and in-water encounters are never guaranteed. The chances are roughly 50/50. If dolphin snorkeling isn’t possible on the day, we’ll switch the experience to manta ray or nurse shark snorkeling, depending on the best conditions, so you can still enjoy a great day on the water.
