Embark on a 3-day, 2-night dhow cruise in Nosy Be, Madagascar, and discover the wild islands of the northwest. Choose between a southern or northern route and enjoy an authentic maritime adventure aboard a traditional sabakalava sailboat.
Southwest Route:
Day 1: Snorkel at Nosy Tanikely, a marine nature reserve, and sail to Russian Bay, home to mangroves, lemurs, and rich marine life.
Day 2: Sail to Nosy Iranja, the famous turtle island connected by a white sand bank, and enjoy a walk on the island.
Day 3: Return to Nosy Be.
North Route:
Day 1: Navigate to Grand Mitsio, characterized by basalt organs and translucent waters.
Day 2: Snorkel at Nosy Ankarea and watch the sunset at the basalt organs.
Day 3: Return to Nosy Be with stops at Nosy Fanihy and Nosy Sakatia, where you can snorkel with giant turtles.
Spend your nights sleeping in tents on the beaches or under the stars on the deck of the boat. Enjoy seafood-based meals prepared by local Malagasy sailors and experience a flexible itinerary that adapts to the wind, tides, and desires of the group.
