商品説明
Departure and initial briefing at the base camp. Your adventure begins at the bottom of the mountain, where your local certified live guide warmly welcomes you. Together, you study the trail map and go over the essential safety briefing for this immersion in a dry tropical environment. This is the perfect time to adjust your walking shoes and check your water supplies. Immersion in the baobab forest and climbing the steps. The route begins with a brisk walk in the heart of a dry forest that is unique in the world. Very quickly, you find yourself facing the famous stone staircase and its 600 steps, winding through dense vegetation. Looking up, you see the majestic silhouettes of the endemic Adansonia suarezensis baobabs, which seem to stand guard along the limestone cliff. Your live guide punctuates the climb with captivating stops to observe the local wildlife, including tropical birds and reptiles hidden in the scenery. Exploration of military remains and historic tunnels. Halfway through, the atmosphere changes dramatically when you reach the old colonial fortifications. Equipped with a lamp, you enter the historic tunnels and caves carved into the rock by the military. The guide then immerses you in the site's strategic past, transforming this nature hike into a truly memorable journey back in time. The grand finale at the top: a 360° panorama of the bay. The effort of the climb is immediately rewarded when you reach the summit platform. A magnificent 360-degree show is before you: the intense blue of Diego-Suarez Bay, the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain resting on the water and, in the distance, the turquoise reflections of the Emerald Sea. You can enjoy a long break to capture this breathtaking landscape and savor the fresh sea breeze. A gentle descent and drop-off at the starting point. The day trip concludes with a gradual descent along an alternative trail, offering new perspectives on the Valley of the Parrots. You'll calmly return to the front desk for a final friendly chat with your live guide, thus concluding a half-day packed with emotions, combining sport, culture, and biodiversity.
