Your adventure begins in Ankify, where you meet your driver and head towards the Ankarana Special Reserve. The road crosses the landscapes of northern Madagascar and allows you to gradually discover a region known for its spectacular limestone reliefs.
Upon arrival at Ankarana, begin a full exploration of the Tsingy and their natural environment. Accompanied by your local live guide, you will discover the impressive rock formations, the trails of the reserve, and the forest that is home to flora and fauna characteristic of northern Madagascar. The hiking tour allows you to appreciate the different landscapes of Ankarana while learning about its history and its natural features.
After the tour, head to the Relais de l'Ankarana for an overnight stay and enjoy a moment of rest in a natural setting.
The next morning, continue your adventure towards the Tsingy Rouges. You will discover a totally different landscape, made up of spires and rock formations in shades of red, orange, and ocher. Enjoy the tour and the various vantage points to admire this exceptional natural site and take photos.
The route then continues through the landscapes of northern Madagascar, with the option to continue towards Diego Suarez (Antsiranana) or return to Ankify, depending on your travel schedule. This 2-day trip allows you to combine two iconic natural sites in northern Madagascar: the Ankarana Tsingy and the Red Tsingy.
