Next, visit the Soroca Fortress. Built between 1543–1546, this impressive fortification stands on the banks of the Dniester River and historically served as a key defensive point against foreign invasions. Explore its architecture and defensive towers, and learn about its strategic importance.
Continue the excursion with a visit to the Gypsy district. Admire the imposing fortresses, with two or three floors, sometimes even more, made of granite, marble, and expensive imported materials, insulated windows, and guarded by huge statues.
