Join Oriol, a WSET-certified wine professional, for an intimate tasting of three carefully selected Cava sparkling wines from Penedès, Catalonia’s renowned sparkling wine region. Discover different styles, aromas and flavour profiles while learning what sets top-quality Cava apart from other sparkling wines.
The experience begins with a welcome drink and a short introduction to wine tasting. You'll then be guided through a curated selection of 3 Cavas, learning about the difference between Reserva and Gran Reserva styles, as well as understanding how factors such as terroir, winemaking techniques and ageing influence what you taste in the glass.
Along the way, you'll discover the stories behind the wineries, the people who make the wines, and what sets boutique producers apart from large commercial brands.
The tasting also includes artisanal snacks thoughtfully paired with the wines, giving you the opportunity to explore food and wine pairing while asking questions and sharing impressions in a relaxed, small-group setting.
