Riga was founded in 1201 by a former Hanseatic League member. It is one of the largest cities in Latvia (known as Paris of the Baltic States), famous for its Old Town, city centre, and for its nightlife. It also has one of the busiest airports in the Baltic states. The tour will take you past the city’s major attractions, like its landmark public buildings. You will see Riga’s Art Nouveau houses and the recently opened National Library. Of course, we will not miss the largest churches in town, like the Dome Cathedral, St. Jacob’s Church and St. Peter’s Church.
