Great Ķemeri Bog Begin with a guided walk along the famous Great Ķemeri Bog Boardwalk. Learn how this ancient raised bog formed over thousands of years, discover its unique plants and wildlife, and experience one of Latvia’s most remarkable landscapes. Every season offers something different, from colourful spring blooms and lush summer greenery to golden autumn tones and the peaceful beauty of winter.
Ķemeri Wet Forests Continue into the park’s distinctive wet forests, home to natural sulphur springs, unique Black Alder swamp habitats and fascinating ecological processes.
Lake Kaņieris Next, visit Lake Kaņieris, a former lagoon of the prehistoric Littorina Sea and one of Latvia’s premier birdwatching destinations. Climb the birdwatching tower, explore its protected habitats and, during migration seasons, look for some of the more than 230 bird species recorded here.
