Travel to the Hill of Crosses from Riga on a small shared group tour. Learn about the site's history and significance, and have the opportunity to leave a cross of your own.
Depart from Riga and take a 2-hour ride to the Hill of Crosses. On the way listen to stories from our local guide. As you arrive at the Hill of Crosses, enjoy 1 hour of free time at your own pace.
Once you arrive, take in the sight of hundreds of thousands of crosses representing the faith of people from all over the world. The site was once visited by Pope John Paul II and continues to welcome travelers with its stories.
Leave a cross on the Hill if you wish, with the option to purchase one from a local seller or bring one from your home country.
On the way back, stop at the border for a photo and drive through the city of Jelgava where you'll see the largest Baroque palace in the Baltics.
