Begin your journey with a comfortable ride to Vianden Castle. As you travel, listen to fascinating stories about the castle’s past and the royal dynasties of Luxembourg. Learn about the country’s rich history and get tips on the best spots for lunch and photography.

Upon arrival, explore the grand banquet hall, the knights’ dining room, the chapel, and restored private apartments. Enjoy sweeping views of the Our Valley from the castle terraces.

Discover historical exhibits featuring castle models from different eras, ancient maps, household items, and archaeological finds showing the transformation from fortress to palace.

Take a chairlift ride (closed in winter) over the town to 450 metres above sea level, with breathtaking views of the castle and old Vianden — perfect for photos.

Stroll through the narrow cobblestone streets of the Old Town of Vianden, admiring stone houses with red-tiled roofs, cosy squares, and blooming balconies.
