商品説明
Hike through Greenland's dramatic Arctic landscapes, immense open spaces, rugged mountains, glacial valleys, crystal-clear lakes, and spectacular coastal scenery. With much of the country remaining untouched by roads and development, hiking offers a rare opportunity to experience nature in its most remote and pristine form.
Depending on the region and route, walk through colorful Arctic tundra, across rocky mountain passes, beside fjords filled with icebergs, or near the edge of the Greenland Ice Sheet.
One of Greenland’s most famous hiking adventures is the 160-kilometer Arctic Circle Trail, connecting Kangerlussuaq and Sisimiut. The route passes numerous lakes, valleys, mountains, and changing landscapes and typically takes experienced hikers around 8–10 days. Simple wilderness huts are available along parts of the trail, although many hikers choose to camp in tents beneath the Arctic sky.
