As an Algiers local woman with more than 70 five-star reviews on my personal account, I will take you to explore must-see areas, uncover the meanings and stories behind the city and its people, learn about Algeria’s history, try Algerian food, witness day-to-day life, and see unusual, non-touristy sides of the city, whether you visit on a weekday or weekend.

Morning: We explore the living heart of the UNESCO Casbah. Discover hidden palaces, witness local artisans, and feel the history of its narrow streets.

Lunch: Enjoy an authentic Algerian meal at a trusted local spot, sampling classic dishes in a traditional setting.

Afternoon: We admire the Grand Post Office, then take the metro-cable car up to the Martyr Monument for breathtaking views and a deep dive into Algeria's history.
