Travel from La Paz, Bolivia, to the city of Uyuni to explore the northern part of the Salar de Uyuni, the most extraordinary section of the salt flats. The northern part of the salt flat is in a pristine state; it has not been exploited for tourism. You will be able to connect with nature, feel the indescribable energy of the salt flat, and explore an underwater cave with petrified algae dating back more than 4,000 years, a time when the salt flat was an ocean. You will spend your first night at a salt hotel at the foot of Thunupa Volcano. We will then climb to the slopes of Thunupa Volcano to see perfectly preserved mummies and learn a bit about their history.

On Day 2, we will venture into the salt flat, crossing it through one of its widest sections. There, we will visit Incahuasi Island, known for its giant cacti, and you will have the opportunity to take spectacular photographs in the heart of the salt flat and be captivated by the sunset. In the evening, we will arrive in the city of Uyuni, where you will rest and enjoy a unique meal.

On the third day, we will visit the Uyuni Train Cemetery and begin our return journey to La Paz city.
