Enjoy a magical and immersive afternoon in the Valle de las Ánimas, a natural and cultural treasure of La Paz, perfect for making the most of your half-day with an accessible experience suitable for everyone, featuring light hikes and scenic breaks.
We will depart promptly at 2:00 PM from Calle Sagarnaga N 376 Homeland Tours. After a short stop to buy supplies, we'll enter the Chasquipampa Canyon. During a moderate ascent, we'll explore the labyrinth of clay giants that seem to touch the sky, while our tour guide shares the local legends, the rich history, and the profound Aymara Andean worldview that surrounds this sacred landscape.
To capture the essence of the place, we'll arrive at a first vantage point where you'll have free time to take unique and spectacular photographs within the valley. Then, we'll descend into the heart of the canyon to explore its trails and appreciate up close the unparalleled perspective offered by these ancient formations.
We will continue walking towards the main vantage point to finish our tour with a flourish. At this point, we'll enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings, the textures and shadows created by the afternoon light, and the vibrant energy of the valley, while sharing a delicious outdoor snack before embarking on a comfortable descent to our vehicle at the end of the day's visit.
Finally, at 6:00 PM, we board the transportation and begin the return trip to the town center at Av. Illampu on the corner of Sagarnaga, finishing the sightseeing tour around 7:00 to 7:30 PM, depending on traffic.
