Begin your adventure with a pickup from the bus terminal, or the airport in Uyuni to take you directly to the hotel.
The tour starts at 10:30 AM. Head to the legendary Train Cemetery, where 19th-century locomotives lie as silent witnesses to the region's railway history.
Next, visit the village of Colchani to learn about traditional salt extraction techniques and explore its picturesque craft market. Then, immerse yourself in the vast white expanse of the Salar de Uyuni, stopping to see the Salt Eyes, the old salt hotel (now a museum), the World Flags area, and the Dakar Rally monument.
Enjoy a picnic-style lunch in the middle of this surreal landscape. Afterward, stop at the Salt Staircase, a perfect spot for playing with perspective and capturing artistic photos.
Continue to Incahuasi Island, a rocky outcrop of volcanic rock and ancient corals. Note that access to the island's trails requires an optional fee of 30 bolivianos (Access to Incahuasi Island may be restricted from January to March due to high water accumulation caused by rainfall. In such a case, you may request to cancel your reservation and receive a guaranteed 100% refund.).
