Start the tour at Bahrain’s UNESCO-listed Pearling Path to discover what life was like before oil was discovered. Then visit a fish feed factory, a type of factory found only in Bahrain, followed by a fishing cage factory where special 100% handmade cages are built to catch fish. Next, meet a diver on the beach for an oyster-opening experience with a wonderful view. The diver will explain all about pearls, and each customer will choose some oysters and keep any pearls found. Continue to Manama’s old market, Bab Al Bahrain, for a traditional lunch. The final stop is UNESCO-listed Bahrain Fort, which was built by the Portuguese 450 years ago.
