商品説明
Begin your day with a convenient hotel pickup from Zhangjiajie City and head to Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. Enjoy a 30-minute drive while learning about the mountain’s elevation, its “Heaven’s Gate Cave,” and the world’s longest high-altitude cableway.
Ascend the mountain via a 28-minute cable car ride. Listen as your guide explains the engineering wonders of the line crossing deep valleys and introduces scenic points like “General Rock” and “Fairy Scattering Flowers.”
Next, walk safely on the triple-layered Glass Skywalk. Your guide assists with photo spots or offers an alternate trail for those afraid of heights. Then, visit Tianmen Cave (Heaven’s Gate). Take the escalator through the mountain (extra fee, guide assistance provided) or hike up the 999 steps. Learn how the cave was naturally formed 120 million years ago and its symbolic meaning in Tujia folklore.
On clear days, capture the famous “Clouds through the Gate” phenomenon — your guide can help with camera settings and angles. Afterward, visit “Tianmen Mountain Food Street” near the park exit. Sample local dishes like Sanxia Pot, Tujia bacon noodles, and sticky rice cakes.
Return to the city center and head to 72 Qilou Street. Learn how the stilted wooden houses are built “against the mountain,” featuring mortise-and-tenon joints and upturned eaves. The guide highlights the best photo spots (like the main tower light show terrace).
Watch free street shows such as Tujia Hand-Waving Dance and Miao Drum Performance (16:30–18:30). The guide explains their cultural meanings — e.g., the hand-waving dance symbolizes harvest blessings. Optional ethnic costume rentals are available (self-paid).
Enjoy free time exploring the “Tujia Food Street.” Try local snacks like Bowl-Smashing Wine and Kudzu Jelly. Visit souvenir shops or climb the main tower for panoramic night views. Around 18:30, the grand light show begins — colorful lights project Tujia totems and mountain-water patterns on the main building façade.
