Make your way to Jiuzhaigou Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled in Sichuan’s Aba Prefecture, famous for snow-capped mountains, thick primeval forests and uniquely colorful travertine waters.
The whole scenic area adopts a Y-shaped route system relying entirely on official in-park shuttle buses that run between all major sightseeing stops, allowing you to get on and off conveniently to avoid exhausting long-distance walking and complicated self-planning. The classic visiting sequence covers three valleys: start by riding the shuttle up to Rize Valley to visit highlights like Five-Flower Lake and Pearl Shoal, then head to Zechawa Valley to see Long Lake and Colorful Pool, and wrap up your trip by descending through Shuzheng Valley to admire Nuorilang Waterfall before leaving the park.
