Explore the highlights of Chongqing on a carefully designed city tour that combines iconic landmarks, local flavors, spectacular city views, and traditional cultural performances.
Your day begins at 9:00 AM with pickup from a centrally located hotel. Start by visiting Chongqing’s famous monorail viewing platform, where the train passes directly through a residential building—one of the city’s most iconic urban landmarks.
Continue to the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers, where the two rivers meet in a striking natural contrast known locally as the "Yuan Yang Hot Pot." Enjoy a specially arranged Chongqing-style nine-grid snack meal, featuring a variety of authentic local specialties.
In the afternoon, experience the charm of traditional Chinese performing arts with a classic Sichuan Opera show featuring the world-famous face-changing performance, spectacular fire-spitting, and elegant tea artistry (standard seating included).
After the performance, stroll through the historic Shibati Traditional Folk Street to discover the atmosphere of old Chongqing before exploring the vibrant Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street and Bayi Road Food Street, the city's most popular destination for local snacks and street food.
End the day with a ride on Asia's longest panoramic glass elevator and visit the World Trade Center's 131st-floor observation deck, where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Chongqing's dramatic skyline, mountains, and rivers.
The tour concludes at Hongyadong, one of Chongqing's most famous riverside landmarks, where guests can continue exploring at their own pace before returning to their hotel independently.
