商品説明
Start your day with convenient hotel pickup in Beijing, or meet at the Grand Hotel meeting point. Enjoy exterior views of iconic landmarks including the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Monument to the People’s Heroes, Tiananmen Rostrum, the Great Hall of the People and the National Museum of China before entering Tiananmen Square for a guided walking tour.
Afterwards, head to the Forbidden City (Imperial Palace) — the world’s largest and best-preserved ancient imperial complex with over 500 years of history. Constructed between 1406 and 1420, the complex has endured damage, looting, reconstruction and restoration many times. Consequently, most existing buildings date back to the 18th century and later.
Finally, visit the Temple of Heaven, where ancient emperors prayed for national stability and bumper harvests. Located in southern Beijing, this revered sacred site has stood for more than five centuries. The magnificent compound served as the primary sacrificial altar for emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
