Step into Hangzhou’s poetic soul on this tight one-day tour, blending natural serenity, ancient Buddhism and authentic Longjing tea culture. Start at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, take a 45-minute high-speed train to Hangzhou, leaving city bustle for Jiangnan’s quiet water charm. A local transfer brings you to iconic West Lake for a gentle boat cruise, past willow-lined banks and old stone bridges loved by poets for centuries.

After the cruise, enjoy a delicious authentic local lunch, featuring classic subtle flavours of Jiangnan cuisine. Next, visit Lingyin Temple and Feilai Peak, a top sacred Buddhist site in China. Wander among old trees and stone carvings to soft temple bells; your guide shares its thousand-year history, with unique rocks offering a quiet nature break.

In the afternoon, explore Longjing Tea Village in green hills. Walk sunlit tea terraces, learn basic picking from farmers, then sip fresh Longjing — China’s famous green tea — with crisp floral notes in a simple teahouse.
