商品説明
Spend a full day among the spectacular Longji Rice Terraces, the "Dragon's Backbone," where fields carved into the mountainsides near Guilin form one of China's most iconic landscapes. Travel with a knowledgeable English-speaking host and guide who brings to life the culture, history, and daily rhythms of the local Zhuang and Red Yao communities.
First, visit Huangluo Yao Village, the famous "Long Hair Village," home to the Red Yao people. Take in the mountain scenery and learn about Red Yao traditions, dress, and way of life from your guide. An optional folk performance is available on site for those who'd like to see it.
In the afternoon, explore the Jinkeng (Dazhai) scenic area, where the Red Yao have shaped these terraces for more than 600 years. Sweeping viewpoints reveal terraces that ripple across the valleys — emerald in summer, golden at harvest, and mirror-like when flooded in spring. Walk the village trails or take the optional cable car up to the higher lookouts.
Between the two stops, break for lunch in the terraces (own expense), with the chance to try Longji specialties such as bamboo-tube rice, Longji cured pork, free-range chicken, and home-brewed rice wine.
Choose the shared small-group tour or a private tour just for your party. Your English-speaking driver-guide handles round-trip transport between your Guilin city-center hotel and the terraces, so you can relax and focus on the landscape and the culture.
