You’ll be picked up at your Beijing's hotel between 07:00AM and 08:00AM and begin the full-day tour of the city’s highlights at the Forbidden City, the largest and most powerful ancient imperial palace complex in the world, with 650 years of history to discover. Your guide will take you along the central axis of the site from south to north for an hour-long tour.
After a short rest, you’ll continue on to the Temple of Heaven, the largest ancient imperial worship site in the world, where the emperors prayed for a good harvest for the farmers. On the way to Temple of Heaven, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about Chinese traditional medicine at a museum.
Following a break to enjoy a Chinese lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll stop for a short visit to a pearl gallery or silk museum.
Next is a half-hour drive to the Summer Palace, which is the site of the stunning and most famous Chinese imperial garden. After about an hour of exploring the area you’ll enjoy Chinese tea ceremony at tea house before going back to your hotel.
