商品説明
Enjoy an unforgettable adventure at the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre, featuring two of the Canadian Rockies’ most iconic experiences. Walk high above the Sunwapta Valley on the glass-floored Skywalk, then journey onto the Athabasca Glacier aboard a massive Ice Explorer.
Meet your guide and travel to the Athabasca Glacier. Board the Ice Explorer, a massive, specially designed all-terrain vehicle with giant tires capable of climbing directly onto the glacier, and set off across the ice while your guide shares stories and insights about the Columbia Icefield and surrounding peaks.
Step out onto the glacier itself and walk across ice formed over 25,000 years. Take in the vast alpine landscape and even taste fresh, pure glacial water straight from the source.
After your glacier experience, continue to the Columbia Icefield Skywalk. Walk along a glass-floored platform suspended above the Sunwapta Valley, where only glass separates you from a 918-foot (279-meter) drop. Take in sweeping views of mountains, glaciers, waterfalls, and the winding Sunwapta River below.
