The Italian Lunch
The Italian Lunch is a four-hour hands-on cooking class followed by a shared Italian feast, inspired by the long, generous meals of Italian village life.
Guided by Stefano in the heart of the Southern Highlands, a short and scenic journey from Sydney, the Illawarra and Canberra, guests begin by making traditional village bread and fresh pasta from scratch, learning time-honoured techniques and simple rituals passed down through generations. The experience continues with the preparation of an unforgettable main, designed to be cooked together and enjoyed slowly.
Once the cooking is done, the kitchen becomes the table. Guests sit down to dine on everything they’ve made, sharing food, stories and laughter in true Italian style. This is not a rushed class or a formal lesson — it’s about cooking together, lingering over a meal, and celebrating the joy of good food and good company.
We can accommodate most dietary requirements. Please note any requirements at the time of booking. Guests with coeliac or vegan dietary needs are asked to check with Stefano before booking to ensure the experience is suitable.
Come hungry. Leave joyfully.
