Discover Australia’s Red Centre on this 3-day outback camping adventure visiting Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon. This immersive experience is ideal for travellers looking for a comfortable camping experience in the heart of the desert while learning about Indigenous culture and the history of the region. 

Watch unforgettable sunrise and sunset views over Uluru. Hike the Walpa Gorge trail at Kata Tjuta, surrounded by dramatic rock formations, and complete the famous Uluru Base Walk to discover the cultural and natural significance of this sacred site. 

Continue the journey to Kings Canyon where you will tackle the spectacular Rim Walk, featuring the Garden of Eden waterhole oasis and the ancient cliff formations of the Lost City. Travel with experienced guides who share knowledge about Aboriginal culture and wildlife. 

Accommodation is provided in shared eco-tent camping designed for comfort and sustainability, with bedding supplied. All meals and transport are included during the guided itinerary for a convenient and hassle-free Red Centre adventure. 

This 3-day Red Centre camping adventure offers flexible travel options, allowing you to start and finish your journey from either Alice Springs or Yulara. Whether you are arriving via Alice Springs or flying into Ayers Rock Airport near Yulara, you can choose the departure and return point that best suits your travel plans.

_Meeting Point_

  • Alice Springs Departures: Pick up from your accommodation at approximately 6am.
  • Yulara / Ayers Rock Airport Departures: Pick up at the front of Desert Gardens Hotel at 1:45pm or Ayers Rock Airport at 2pm (your flight must arrive before 1:40 pm).

_End Point_

  • Finishing in Alice Springs: 6pm on day 3. *Supplier cannot guarantee arriving in time to board the Ghan or any flight on this day.
  • Finishing in Yulara: 9am on day 4 at Desert Gardens Hotel or Ayers Rock Airport.

Duration approx. : 3 Days (or 4 Days for 3 Nights tour) 

Luggage Instructions : Luggage limit of 15kg in soft bag plus carry on day pack. No hard cases please.

Accommodation: Permanent Eco Tent – Twin-share permanent eco tent with bed, linen & towel, sleeping bag and pillow provided (shared showers and toilets).
