商品説明

Meet your friendly guide in Piazza San Carlo, a magnificently elegant location aptly nicknamed the ‘lounge’ of Turin. Learn about the Piazza’s history which dates back to 1619 as you admire the intricate architecture of the surrounding buildings.
Next, pass by the Port Palazzo Market on your way to the impressive Porta Palatina, which is one of the best preserved 1st-century BC Roman gateways in the world. Continue the tour to the imposing San Giovanni Battista Cathedral, the main place of Catholic worship in Turin.
Located in the square of the same name, the cathedral was built at the end of the 15th century and is the city’s only religious building in the Renaissance style. Arrive at Piazza Castello next, a large esplanade that is the true center of Turin.
Admire the dazzling Palazzo Madama as well as the majestic Palazzo Reale. Follow your guide to Piazza Carignano, one of the most important and historic squares of the Piedmontese capital.
Dating back to the Savoy era of the city, the square boasts a fascinating monument to honor Vincenzo Gioberti, whom you will learn about from your guide. The tour ends at one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, the Mole Antonelliana.
Built in 1863 and standing at 167 meters tall, the tower was initially a place of worship for Turin’s Jewish community before being sold to the municipality in 1877. Today the tower houses the fabulous collections of the National Cinema Museum.
