From Frankfurt: Heidelberg and Rothenburg Guided Day Trip｜Germany

Day tour to the beautiful city of Heidelberg, this historically old city on the Neckar is visited by millions of visitors from all over the world every year, as well as Rothenburg, one of the most beautiful medieval towns.

In our tour we will show you the famous castle from Heidelberg, which has a historical history. The whole structure, the castle and the courtyard impress with their ruins and construction. The castle is several centuries old and offers a wonderful view over the city from its huge terrace. Here you are looking at one of the largest wine barrels in the world.

After visiting the castle we walk through the medieval center to the old bridge and the Karlstor, the Renaissance house to the knight, the Heiliggeistkirche.

Following Heidelberg, our tour guide in Rothenburg will guide you on foot and we walk together through the picturesque historic streets with their half-timbered houses to the city gates and the mighty Renaissance town hall. Then it's on to the beautiful Burggarten and St. Jacob's Church with the world-famous Holy Blood Altar by Tilman Riemenschneider.

Continue to visit the Crime Museum, the fantastic Doll and Toy Museum and/or the Christmas Museum.

Rothenburg is a unique experience in the Middle Ages. We will also show you a very special place for beautiful souvenirs. There are wood carvings, glasses, Christmas decorations, beer mugs and even cuckoo clocks. Together we can still enjoy the famous "snowball" made of sweet shortcrust pastry.
