All tours begin with an exterior tour of Notre Dame Cathedral, where your expert guide introduces the history, architecture, and significance of this Gothic landmark. As you explore the exterior, you will admire the west facade, flying buttresses, and detailed stone carvings, while learning how Notre Dame was built, how Victor Hugo’s novel helped save it from destruction, and how the cathedral has endured through centuries of change.

Take part in the full guided exterior tour, which concludes at the cathedral entrance. After the tour, you may enter Notre Dame independently via the general admission line for a self guided interior visit at your own pace. This experience offers a clear and enriching way to visit one of Paris’s most iconic and newly restored landmarks.
