Explore the lands, aromas, and flavors of the Valpolicella region on a wonderful truffle hunting and food tasting adventure. Join an expert Tartafuro guide who will teach you how to hunt for scorzone (black summer) truffles in the woods and lands which surround an old winery in Verona. 

After the hunt, take a tour of the wine cellar. Enjoy a tasting of fine Valpolicella red wines paired with typical local food and scorzone truffles. Discover the intense aromas of the forest and how they combine with the incredible fragrances of Amarone wine. Savor all of these flavors from an amazing terrace which overlooks the magnificent Valpolicella region.

Please note, truffle hunting is subject to seasonal closure. In winter, it will be replaced with a visit to the vineyard, the cellars and the farmhouse.

  • Know Before You Go: If you take your own car, please arrive at the winery at 10:30 AM

  • Know Before You Go: To get to the winery by public transport, take a bus (only one bus-line, no changes) from Verona center or Verona Porta Nuova train station with starting time at 10 AM. The local partner can help you to organize your trip after booking

  • Know Before You Go: A private transfer is available at the additional cost of €10 per person. The transfer takes place from Piazzale Cadorna-Verona center at 10:00 AM or Verona Porta Nuova train station at 10:15 AM

  • Know Before You Go: The hunt is subject to the availability of the Tartufaro. If unavailable, the tour will include a walk in the vineyards and guided tour of the cellars, wine tasting with local food, fresh pasta with truffle, and a complimentary bottle of oil
