Krabi is known for its fantastic excursions, and among its 20 or so surrounding islands, Hong Island is the one with a National Park's Ranger station with a variety of of restaurants, public toilet facilities and first-aid equipment. There are two beaches in Hong Island, one long and narrow, where the boats anchor, and the other is hidden in a small bay, where you can relax, swim and snorkel. Stroll along an 800-meter trail that runs right under the cliffs and get face-to-face with wildlife composed of birds and monitor lizards.
