Start your day tour with a beautiful sunrise at the best sunrise viewing area, Talinguru Nyankunytajku. Relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while admiring the amazing view. Sit back with a convenient transfer service to Kata Tjuta, also known as the Olgas, and learn more about the history of the National Park from an experienced driver guide. Walk along the sheer walls of Walpa Gorge and discover a world of rare plant species and lush evergreen shrubs.

This experience does not include admission to Kata Tjuta National Park. Passengers are advised to purchase tickets in advance and show them to the driver when boarding the bus. Tickets for Kata Tjuta National Park can be purchased from the National Park website
Moderate level of fitness required to complete the Walpa Gorge Walk
It’s highly recommended you wear sturdy walking shoes. Morning weather can be very cold in winter and very hot in summer, we recommend you dress accordingly. It’s a long morning so we recommend you bring snacks if you’re likely to be hungry before lunch time. Consider packing a light breakfast.
Pick-up is available at the following locations: Sails in the Desert (Front of Hotel), Ayers Rock Campground (Meet at Bus Stop on Main Road), Outback Hotel (Front of Hotel), and Desert Gardens (Front of Hotel). Provisional pick-up information can be viewed here
Please note that pick-up times and locations are estimates and may vary throughout the year based on operational schedules. Guests must contact AAT Kings at 1300 228 546 48 - 72 hours prior to departure to confirm the final pick-up time and location
