Hiroko sensei is an excellent teacher, explaining not just the recipe but also how to cook intuitively by checking the correct texture and color of the ingredients as they are prepared. I speak a little Japanese but she also speaks a little English so it was easy to communicate. She knows a lot about Okinawan traditional food and taught me a lot about local teas as well. The food was delicious and surprisingly simple. Highly recommended, a really unique course!
