Info produk

To drive a boat on your own, you must have boat driving experience at least one more time.
Rent a bareboat for 4.5 hours in the southern part of Milos and enjoy the ultimate freedom to be your own captain. Skip the crowds of large tour boats and explore some of the Aegean’s most stunning and inaccessible beaches at your own pace.

Arrive at the rental company, usually based on the southern side, such as Kipos or Agia Kyriaki beach, and receive a 10-15 minute briefing and training. Learn how to steer, use the throttle (forward/reverse), drop the anchor, and read the depth gauge.

Set sail and explore the southern coast of Milos, the most sheltered from the summer "Meltemi" (strong northern winds). When northern beaches like Sarakiniko or Firopotamos are wavy, the south is usually as calm as a lake. Additionally, it hides the island's greatest geological gems, which are completely inaccessible by car.

Start from Kipos or Agia Kyriaki and enjoy plenty of time to visit the following stops:

Stop 1: Gerontas
An impressive beach with dark, almost black sand, surrounded by towering white cliffs. Its trademark feature is a natural stone arch standing in the water. You can steer the boat (very carefully) or swim right under it.

Stop 2: Kleftiko – The Highlight
The old pirate lair. This is a complex of massive white volcanic rock formations rising from crystal-clear, turquoise waters.

Drop anchor, grab your mask and snorkel, and explore the sea caves. With a small self-driven boat, you can get much closer to the rocks and caves than large tour boats can.

Stop 3: Tsigrado & Firiplaka
If time permits on your way back (or if you head in the opposite direction first), Tsigrado is a tiny, enclosed bay with emerald waters. Accessing it from land requires climbing down a notoriously steep wooden ladder—but with your boat, you can just cruise right in and dive straight into the water.
