The wine tasting experience takes place in a historic wine bar located very close to Piazza Erbe, in the heart of Verona. In operation since the second half of the 20th century, it has been a landmark for the city's wine culture for decades, with a carefully curated selection of local and national wines and great vintages. The atmosphere is intimate, welcoming and designed to foster a relaxed and convivial experience.

Following the Step by Story approach, the wine tasting in Verona is not a technical lesson or a sommelier course, but a narrative journey. Wine becomes a means of telling the story of the region, its people and the relationships between the city, the landscape and wine production. Each glass is accompanied by a story that goes beyond the label and helps you understand the context in which the wine is produced and shared.

The experience is designed for small groups and is led by a narrative curator, assisted by those who work with wine in this space on a daily basis. The language is accessible and also suitable for those with no prior knowledge of wine. The private experience is available on request for groups and families.

The tasting route covers some of the most representative appellations of the Verona area. It begins with a Prosecco as a welcome, continues with a Soave, symbolic of the tradition of local white wines, and proceeds with two expressions of Valpolicella: Valpolicella Classico and Valpolicella Ripasso, which represent two different facets of the same area.

For those who wish to delve deeper, tasting routes dedicated to the great red wines of Valpolicella, including Amarone and Recioto, are available as options, designed to offer an even more intense and structured experience.

The tasting is accompanied by a platter of local cheeses and cured meats, selected to pair with the wines in order to enhance the different stages of the tasting and create a complete food and wine experience.

Upon request and after contacting us at the time of booking, alternatives to the charcuterie board and wines can be considered based on dietary requirements or personal preferences, subject to availability.
