Take part in the Dual Design Creative Workshop in Rome, a 1- to 2-hour experience dedicated to discovering an original and relaxing craft technique. During the session, you will make the “Puffy Small” bag, a soft, contemporary accessory created exclusively by hand, without using a crochet hook.
The workshop is accessible to everyone: it is perfect both for those who have never knitted or crocheted before and for those who already have experience with handmade techniques and want to try out a new method of working.
You will be guided step by step in creating your bag, learning how to work with Irish yarn, which is soft, durable and pleasant to handle. Through simple, intuitive movements, you will discover how to weave the yarn, construct the structure of the bag and define the final shape of the Fuffy Small model.
Each step will be explained with practical demonstrations and ongoing support. You will also receive tips on yarn tension, constructing the structure and the details that make each creation unique. At the end of the workshop, you will take home your Fuffy Small, made entirely by hand.
All the necessary materials are included, and you don't need to bring any tools or have any specific skills: the workshop is designed to be simple, intuitive and fun.
The experience takes place at the new Dual Design showroom at Via Pian Due Torri 63/B, Rome, a creative space dedicated to design and artisanal experimentation. The entrance is private: when you get to number 63, continue past the first shop and enter the reserved parking area. On the left, you will find the second Dual Design entrance: ring the bell to enter the showroom.
During the activity, a small sweet or savory aperitif will also be served, with snacks, cookies, juices and drinks, to make the experience even more enjoyable and convivial.
You can take part on your own or with friends: the workshop is an opportunity to slow down, use your hands, express your creativity and share a different kind of experience, taking home something unique that you have made yourself. ✨
