Discover the beauty of Banff National Park on a well-organized small-group day tour departing from Calgary, Canmore, or Banff.

After pickup from your selected location, travel comfortably into the Canadian Rockies with a professional local driver-guide. During the journey, enjoy mountain views while your guide shares useful information about the region, sightseeing locations, wildlife safety, and recommended photo spots.

Begin your day at Moraine Lake, one of Canada’s most famous and photographed alpine lakes. Located in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, Moraine Lake is known for its vivid turquoise water and dramatic mountain surroundings. Guests will have approximately 1 hour to enjoy the area, take photos, walk near the shoreline, and visit nearby viewpoints when conditions allow.

Continue to Lake Louise, another iconic destination in the Canadian Rockies. Famous for its glacier-fed water and the backdrop of Victoria Glacier, Lake Louise offers one of the most recognized views in Banff National Park. Guests will have approximately 1 hour to walk along the lakeshore, relax, take photos, or purchase snacks and drinks nearby.

After visiting the lakes, continue to the Town of Banff. Enjoy free time on Banff Avenue, the main street of Banff, where guests can have lunch, grab coffee, shop for souvenirs, or experience the mountain-town atmosphere. This stop is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

During the Banff portion of the tour, guests may choose between the Banff Gondola or the Banff Upper Hot Springs. The Banff Gondola offers panoramic views from Sulphur Mountain, while the Banff Upper Hot Springs provides a relaxing mineral-water experience surrounded by mountain scenery. These activities are optional and require an additional fee paid separately by guests. Guests who do not wish to join either activity may continue enjoying free time in Banff.

The tour also includes scenic photo stops at Cascade of Time Garden, Bow Falls Viewpoint, and Lake Minnewanka, depending on timing, weather, traffic, and parking conditions. These stops provide beautiful views of gardens, waterfalls, rivers, mountains, and lake scenery, with possible wildlife viewing around Lake Minnewanka.

At the end of the tour, guests will be dropped off at one of the selected drop-off locations: Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa, Delta Hotels Calgary Downtown, or 2801 Bow Valley Trail in Canmore.
